Install MySql on Linux

Download MySql from here

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mirror.php?id=414176

Then Extract the rar file and export these file on Linux server

MySQL-client-5.1.71-1.glibc23.i386.rpm

MySQL-devel-5.1.71-1.glibc23.i386.rpm

MySQL-server-5.1.71-1.glibc23.i386.rpm

Then Install using the following command

1	[oracle@localhost ~]$ rpm -ivh MySQL-devel-5.1.71-1.glibc23.i386.rpm

Change password

1	[local-user]# <strong>/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'mypassword'

Connect MySql
